During my 50-day migraine, I found through research the procedure being done by an Interventional Radiologist, a doctor that works on varicose veins and uterine fibroids. I found a fabulous doctor, Dr. Sendhil Subramanian. I am feeling the best I have felt in years. I haven’t gone so many days without any migraines in ten years! It has actually been a strange adjustment to feeling good when you keep feeling like the other shoe is going to drop! If the other shoe finds it’s way out, I will just go earlier to get another treatment! In closing, I want to say that I do not take any daily preventatives. My pain-free status right now is all because of this treatment. Don’t give up researching to find your migraine puzzle pieces. It is a very slow process, but hang in there and be your own best advocate. And, go see Dr. Subramanian!
Georgia Vascular Institute is the best in patient care. Especially Dr. Subramanian is knowledgeable and caring in his practice.
Dr. Subra is one of the best doctors I have ever had. The office has been a blessing. I truly believe that if it wasn’t for Dr. Subra my leg would have been amputated by now. Truly a blessing.
Dr. Subra has been great on getting me back on my feet.
I love that Georgia Vascular Institute provides complete care for their patients after the procedures.
I am an employee of Georgia Vascular Institute and I asked Holly our Chief Operations Officer if I could do a testimonial about my bosses and working here and she said yes. I am not trying to get a raise or brown nosing my nose is a caramel color. I first met Dr. Carson and Dr. Subra at one of the hospitals they are affiliated with. I was there twenty two years and I had contact with them for most of those years. They were very nice and friendly over the phone or at their desk and when I saw them in the hallway they would stop, speak and hold a conversation and I was not a doctor or a patient. I was even introduced to family members. There was no sort of gain to stop and speak to me but they did it anyway and that made me feel good. I now have the pleasure of working for them and I see more. The charity work and how they treat their patients with care, concern and compassion. They joke and laugh with the staff and that makes you feel better while doing your job. I was not looking for work but when the opportunity presented itself to work for them I jumped on it and I know that was Jesus. It is a blessing to have a job that you like to go to and that has happened to me twice and for some people that does not happen once. I am reminded to stay focused on God and the blessing will continue to come. My coworkers are wonderful and as I am sure some of you know that they can make you or get you to search for another job. When I first started here I was not scared, nervous or anxious it was like coming home. So if you are looking for a great Vascular/UFE M.D. who will treat you like a human being then you should give us a call at 770-506-4007 or you can just walk-in and any one of the members of GVI would be happy to help you and you can even ask for the lady with the caramel colored nose.
To a great surgeon with excellent bedside manner:
I just wanted to personally thank you for such a wonderful job on my UFE procedure! Having never had surgery ever in my life, I returned to work the next day but I do believe if it hadn’t been for you working and the Lord, my experience would’ve been quite different. Thank you, Dr. Carson, and may God bless you, your family, and practice.
My experience with GVI has been phenomenal. I wasn’t familiar with fibroids or aware of the effects of them; I had no idea the back pain and bleeding were connected. Dr. Carson broke everything down and explained the problem really well. The GVI staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. They were incredibly patient with me and answered all of my questions. Dr. Carson and his staff suggested I get plenty of rest and recover properly after my procedure. I followed their advice, and I was very surprised at the quick recovery. Before I knew it, I was off and running!
